In year 2013, Global Management Consultants was specially invited by the Prime Minister of Solomon Islands to carry out an economic needs analysis to strengthen the banking and finance sector of the country.
Upon an intensive market study which included all government sectors, private, non government and foreign missions GMC delivered a Terms Of Reference followed by a detailed end to end business plan on development, operation and management of a fully fledged all island commercial bank.
The project involved all intensive areas of a commercial bank operation including international banking operations and digital banking transformation of the bank to cater the urgent requirements of the “financial inclusion” agenda of the Central Bank of Solomon Islands.
GMC’s development of Pan Oceanic Bank also involves Head office oversight functions from Colombo and ongoing strategic management support.
